Correspondence, 1837-1838.

The collection contains two letters written between Charles W. Cady of Indianapolis and John Farmer of New Hampshire, 1937-1938. The letters discuss the Indiana Historical Society and the development of its holdings, as well as Indiana newspapers. Cady's letter of 1857 is held in photoc opy only; Farmer's letter is held in the original and in photocopy. It also contains a biographical sketch of John Farmer and a scope and content note for the collection, both written by the New Hampshire Historical Society.
